Yes. Camp guests are welcome to join us for meals with at least 4 hours' notice. Please advise of any dietary requirements in advance.

• Lunch: 13:00–16:00
• Dinner: 19:00–21:00

Chalet guests receive morning tea or coffee served in-room. Packed lunches and early breakfasts can be arranged on request.

Yes - Harry's Bar operates as an honesty bar. Guests are invited to help themselves and record their selections.

Complimentary WiFi is available in the reception area.

Signal is limited. Intermittent reception is available at the main lodge, with stronger Airtel and MTN coverage from select inselbergs.

We can arrange collection and drop-off within nearby Kalonje. For longer distances, guests are kindly asked to arrange their own transport.

Approximately 9–13 hours, depending on conditions. An early departure is strongly recommended.

No. Chalets are offered on a full-board basis and are not equipped for self-catering. The campsite is available for independent stays.

No. The access road is maintained annually and is generally suitable for standard vehicles. Reduced speeds are advised, particularly in wet conditions.

Yes. While the area has relatively low densities of dangerous wildlife, it remains a true wilderness. Guests are welcome to explore at their own discretion and risk.

Yes. Guided walks can be arranged at $50 per day.

Yes - bespoke routes, including into the Luangwa Valley, can be arranged with advance notice. Please note that provisions are not supplied for multi-day hikes.

In many areas, yes. However, conditions can vary seasonally, and caution is advised - particularly near waterfalls.

Detailed maps are available for download and in print at reception. Additional maps are displayed throughout the lodge.

As there is no local waste collection, guests are kindly asked to remove all non-compostable waste. Bags can be provided if needed.

No. Many species are rare or protected. We kindly ask that all flora is left undisturbed.

Yes. We welcome research stays and offer preferential long-stay rates (typically 14+ days). Please contact us in advance with your proposal.
