Kayimbi Chalet

Ideal for two, Kayimbi overlooks the Musamfushi Valley to the Inselbergs to the east. Beautiful sunrises can be enjoyed from the comfort of your twin beds. A brick and thatch cottage with large glass front doors giving superb views down the valley.

Mubanga Chalet

Nestled within the miombo woodland, Mubanga Chalet offers a peaceful retreat for couples, families and small groups. The accommodation is made up of two separate buildings, each with its own shower and toilet, providing added privacy and flexibility for families. The main chalet sleeps up to four guests, with an additional loft bed available, and offers dry-season vehicle access for a convenient wilderness stay.

Mayense Main Campsite

9 separate campsites (Lodge Campsite) · From $20 pppn

Nine individual campsites of varying size, each with their own braai/barbecue area and picnic tables. Hot wood-boiler showers, dish-washing areas, toilets and basins are centrally located. Camping guests can use the honesty bar and book meals at the lodge restaurant.

  • Sites 1–7: $20 per person per night
  • Premium Sites 8 & 9 (Nsaka): $25 pppn, includes thatched shelter, fireplace & panoramic views
  • Site 9 also has a stargazing deck & private ablutions

Kankonde Self-Catering Camp

Escape to the far side of the reserve for a completely self-sufficient wilderness experience. Our remote Kankonde Camp features a private kitchen, toilets, and showers, offering total seclusion for those who want to immerse themselves in nature at their own pace.
